Main RamPacking for Open Die Forging Press Open die hydraulic presses can be 50+ years old and in bad shape: worn bronze bushing, ram mis-alignment, badly scored surfaces, large extrusion gap, side loading. Life of main ram packing is very hard and maintenance people have to replace packing frequently. CARCO has developed its “Pressure responsive SG line” of V-packings to address common press problems. Linsinger Raptor The new cold circular saw family “RAPTOR” was launched by Linsinger 2019. In this newmachine type, LINSINGER completely refrains from using hydraulics. As a result, bulky components such as pumps, pipelines, hoses, or accumulators are completely eliminated. The removal of hydraulics allows for a quieter machine overall, with a significant reduction in noise pollution. Over the life cycle of the machine, the cost of consumables in the form of hydraulic oil, seals and filters is further reduced. The reduced risk of pollution caused by leaking oil, fires or accidents at work underlines the "green philosophy" of this machine once again. Frohn Conditioned Shot Frohn Conditioned Shot is manufactured from higher quality scrap and in larger production amounts than cast steel shot. The wire rod is then cold drawn through dies that reduce the wire diameter to the desired size. This provides a product with far better microstructure than any cast products on the market. These quality differences provide a product with higher transmitted energy that will enable you to shorten your blast cleaning cycle times. Another benefit is reduced consumption vs. cast steel shot that results in reduced dust being generated and maintenance costs as a result of the abrasive dust.
