Forging Foundation Golf Outing September 1, 2021, Concord, Ohio

Join your forging industry colleagues on the golf course for the first official FIA Forging Foundation (FIERF) Golf Outing. The FIA Forging Foundation funds industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engages students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. 100% of your golf registration fee will be donated to FIA’s Forging Foundation (FIERF) to fund student scholarships and educational research projects.

The FIA Heating Technology for Forging Workshop is a two-day training that includes gas heating for forging and induction heating for forging. Attendees are welcome to register for the entire workshop or for an individual day. Modules include: understanding combustion fundamentals, successful burner management, furnace construction and design, induction heating power supplies, material handling systems, water cooling systems, preventative maintenance and more.
