Forging Foundation (FIERF) Golf Outing September 19, 2022 –The Bog - Saukville, Wisconsin

Join your forging industry colleagues on the golf course for the FIA Forging Foundation (FIERF) Golf Outing. The FIA Forging Foundation funds industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engages students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. 100% of your golf registration fee will be donated to FIA's Forging Foundation (FIERF) to fund student scholarships and educational research projects. The outing will take place at The Bog, located 25 minutes north of Milwaukee. Designed by Arnold Palmer. THE BOG is a public 18-hole, Par 72 championship layout, playable from 5,110 yds - 7,221 yds to all skill and courage levels, flowing through 297 acres of woods, wetlands, rolling hills and wildlife habitat. The Bog offers a challenging golf course and packages in a beautiful natural setting in Saukville, Wisconsin. FIA 2022Marketing Conference September 20-21, 2022 –Milwaukee, Wisconsin This 2-day program provides attendees with sales and marketing strategies to help promote and grow their businesses. Presentation topics will include: • Leveraging the Challenger Sales Model • Video Marketing for Manufacturing on a Budget • Storytelling for Selling • SEO for Manufacturing • Effective Communication and Negotiation Expert speakers will provide overviews of the automotive, aerospace, energy, and construction markets. We encourage sales managers, marketing executives, and marketing managers to attend. The 2022 Fall Meeting of Members will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on October 24-26, 2022. This year's event will be all things political, and FIA has secured exceptional keynote speakers, like Admiral James Stavridis and Hon. Christopher Lowman, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment. Members will walk away with a comprehensive understanding of current political conditions, workforce development, and economic trends relating to the forging industry. The meeting will also include a networking reception and a Potomac River Dinner Cruise. The Fall Meeting is an event you won't want to miss! The 2022 Fall Meeting also features a Next Gen group activity. What better way to experience DC's craft beers than going to the breweries that produce them? FIA's Next Gen Group members have the opportunity to network with other members during a local DC Brewery Tour. Attendees will receive roundtrip transportation by motorcoach, to two local DC breweries. At each stop, attendees will receive craft beer samples and a tour of the brewery. Pick up and drop off is at the Hyatt RegencyWashington on Capitol Hill. Attendees need to fill out a waiver prior to the brew tour and must wear closed toe shoes and have a valid ID with them. (Please note that this activity is for Next Gen Group Members (approximate age 20-35) only.
