FORGING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION BEGINS SEARCH FOR PRESIDENT & CEO INDUSTRY NEWS

T he search is underway for the next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Forging Industry Association (FIA). FIA is a mission-driven association dedicated to advancing forging companies in North America to increase their global competitiveness. The President and CEO serves as the primary spokesperson and champion for the organization and its members, with a focus on advocacy, strategic vision, and member value. Key Qualifications: • Strategic Leadership: Visionary thinker with experience leading strategic planning and driving organizational transformation. Ability to anticipate industry trends, shape future direction, and position the organization for long-term success. • Member-Centric Engagement: Deep commitment to member service and value. Skilled in building and maintaining trusted relationships with a diverse membership base, and fostering a culture of responsiveness, inclusion, and collaboration. • Proven Advocacy Expertise: A strong track record of effectively representing an organization’s interests before policymakers, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive

government affairs and public policy strategies. • Organizational Management: Demonstrated success in providing staff leadership in a trade association, including oversight of operations, budget, and staff. Ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams. • Effective Communicator & Relationship Builder: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to serve as a compelling and credible voice for the industry across a variety of audiences, including media, government, business partners, and members. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience, preferably within a membership-based or advocacy-oriented organization. A deep understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape affecting the manufacturing industry is essential. The President and CEO may be based in Cleveland, Ohio or the Washington, D.C. metro areas, with regular travel expected between locations as needed.
