Lobby Day provides an opportunity for you to discuss industry issues that directly impact your business with your congressional leaders in Washington, D.C. Key topics for discussion include fair trade, workforce development and infrastructure. With an upcoming election on the horizon, it is evenmore important to remind lawmakers of the key issues that impact the forging industry.

This event will provide a great opportunity to network with industry peers, get an update from our Washington Lobbyist and enjoy a plated lunch. Die Life Improvement Workshop April 1-2, 2020, Cleveland, Ohio The FIA Die Life Improvement Workshop is designed for attendees to learn multiple facets of extending the life of dies. Failure in forging dies can often be traced to die material, heat treatment, die geometry, lubrication and forging conditions. Since the forging conditions change from application to application, no universal solution to die failure exists. This two-day workshop will examine topics such as die materials, advanced lubrication technology, inspection practices, surface coating techniques, die design and the economic justification of tool steel investment. FIA Annual Meeting of Members May 1-3, 2020, Naples, Florida The 2020 FIA Annual Meeting of Members provides a great platform for information sharing and thought leadership around some of the most pressing issues facing the forging industry today. Participants can find answers to some of their biggest questions, and will leave the event with the knowledge needed to grow their businesses. In addition to interactive educational sessions and inspiring keynote presentations, the 2020 FIA Annual Meeting of Members will feature a variety of networking opportunities and excursions designed for you and your guests to make the most of your time in Florida. FIA East Coast Members are invited to participate in the 2020 FIA East Coast Meeting of Members. This event will provide a great opportunity to network with industry peers, get an update from our Washington Lobbyist and enjoy a plated lunch. Theory &Applications of Forging &Die Design June 8-11, 2020, Cleveland, Ohio FIA’s Theory & Applications of Forging & Die Design course returns to Cleveland on June 8 - 11, 2020. The course is taught by a team of industry experts and engineering professors who work together to carefully explain principles and practices. More than 2,500 forging professionals have attended this course over the last 50 years.
