7. Repeat Steps 3-6 for any additional lubrication points connected to the newmodule.

8. Remove the hand pump and reinstall the performance indicator or port plug removed in Step 3 into the secondary divider valve’s open port.

In my experience, the Trabon/Graco Automatic Lubrication System is one of the best products on the market for reliable proper lubrication. Proper installation is critical as with all quality equipment. Steel lubrication lines should always be used. It may be more difficult to bend and install the steel lines versus nylon or copper tubing, but the finished steel product is much stronger and durable in the manufacturing environment. Press lubrication systems should be part of the ongoing preventative maintenance inspection process. I recommend weekly inspection of the pump, divider blocks, and fittings. In addition to the system itself, visual inspection of the press bearings and ram way surfaces should be performed on a daily basis during a daily maintenance workthrough. The machine operator should be trained to perform these visual daily tasks to improve your operation.
