Conclusions The Pickit 3D Billet Picker facilitates robots to perform material handling tasks straight from containers.This opens up a competitive range of solutions compared to conventional automation methods. The patented combination of 3D vision with integrated end-of- arm-tooling achieves similar performance without the traditional disadvantages of feeders, i.e., pollution, footprint, maintenance and downtime.
