Forging Lightweight Alloys Conference &Plant Tour February 14-16, 2022 – Pinehurst, SC

The Forging Lightweight Alloys Conference (hosted by the FIA Lightweight Alloys Committee) will take place February 14-16, 2022, at the famous Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in Pinehurst, NC. The conference will cover topics including lightweight materials, OEM needs, advancements in technology, equipment for lightweight forging, post-forging processes and more. The confirmed plant tour is the new Bharat Forge AluminumUSA plant located in Sandford, NC. An optional golf outing has been planned on Pinehurst #2 the last afternoon of the conference as well. FIA Safety Conference March 29-30, 2022 – Detroit, MI The FIA Safety Conference (hosted by the FIA Safety Committee) will take place at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn Michigan. The conference agenda includes a plant tour at Trenton Forging. Presentation topics will cover advanced safety systems, the intersection of sustainability and safety, human factors in engineering, and more. Conference attendees will also enjoy two networking receptions, including one hosted off-site at the Following the Safety Conference, FIA will be hosting the first Women in Forging Luncheon. This is a great opportunity for women in the industry to connect, network with one another, and discuss topics facing women in the forging industry. The luncheon will take place in Greenfield Village and include an optional visit to the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation. FIA Annual Meeting of Members 2022 April 20-22, 2022 – Dana Point, CA The 2022 FIA Annual Meeting of Members will take place at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach & Club in Dana Point, California on April 20-22, 2022. FIA Annual Meeting of Members provides in-depth analysis of the most pressing political, economic and workforce issues facing the forging industry today. Attendees can find answers to some of their biggest questions and will leave the event with the knowledge needed to grow their businesses. The 2022 FIA Annual Meeting also will feature a variety of social and networking activities, including a golf tournament, two networking receptions and closing banquet. 2022 International Forging Congress June 11-13, 2022 – Chicago, IL After being postponed, the 23rd International Forging Congress (IFC) returns to Chicago, USA, June 11- 13, 2022. IFC 2022 will showcase the best in forging technical and business-oriented presentations for the worldwide forging community.
