It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Eaton Steel Bar Company Co-Owner/ CEO & Goodman Family Patriarch Mark Goodman on December 8, 2022. In 2023, the Eaton Steel Bar Company will celebrate 70 years under the Goodman Family ownership. The Funeral was held at Ira Kaufman Chapel on Sunday, 11 December 2022 at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Harold Loss, Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny, and Cantor Michael Smolash officiated.

Weber Purchases Former Viking Metallurgical Facility in Verdi, NV

Weber will focus 2023 activities on rehabilitating the facility, installing new equipment, and beginning preliminary qualifications with a select group of customers. InDecember 2022,Weber purchased the former Viking Metallurgical facility in Verdi, NV, most recently operated by Howmet Aerospace as one of Schlosser Forge’s ring rolling sites.
