Join us for the FIA Aluminum and Titanium Metallurgy & Forging 101 Workshop (alongside Lightweight Alloys Conference) onMarch 6, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. (PT). The Aluminum and TitaniumMetallurgy & Forging 101 Workshop is a 3-hour short course focused on metallurgical technology and applications for aluminum and titanium alloys relevant to the forging industry. There will be 3 parts to this course: Science & Engineering Background; Mechanical Properties; Heat Treatment, Metallurgical Details. Forging Lightweight Alloys Conference &Plant Tour March 6-8, 2023 – Henderson, Nevada The Forging Lightweight Alloys Conference will cover topics including lightweight materials, OEM needs, advancements in technology, equipment for lightweight forging, post-forging processes and more. The conference will take place at the Westin Lake Las Vegas, and feature a golf outing and plant tour at TIMET. Women in Forging Networking Dinner March 21, 2023 – Schaumburg, Illinois FIA is hosting aWomen in Forging Networking Dinner to help women in our industry connect, network, build relationships, empower each other, and learn from one another. Information on the FIA Women in Forging Committee will be made available, as well as details about other FIA and FIERF initiatives. Come network with your peers and engage with other women involved in forging and the forging supply chain. Registration fees from this event will be donated to the Forging Industry Women’s Scholarship. FIA Safety Conference March 22-23, 2023 – Schaumburg, Illinois Join your forging industry peers for the 2023 FIA Safety Conference in March at AMADA America, Inc – Schaumburg Solution Center. Hosted by the FIA Safety Committee, FIA Safety Conference will provide attendees with valuable educational programming and networking opportunities, including a plant tour at Elgin Sweeper Co. In addition to a variety of safety topics from subject matter experts, attendees will hear panel sessions and case studies from FIA Member plants. Participants will also be encouraged to have open discussions about safety at their own plants and ask questions to gain more knowledge and insight from their peers. Management Development Institute (Session 1) March 26-28, 2023 – Independence, Ohio FIA’s Management Development Institute (MDI) is a three-part series of lectures, case studies, roundtable discussions, expert panels and structured networking specifically designed to provide mid-level managers with
