Women in Forging Luncheon - Access the Courage Within: Aligning Values and Purpose Luncheon & Workshop on May 14, 2025 In a time of change, courage is more than a virtue; it is a critical skill. This interactive luncheon workshop, Access the Courage Within: Aligning Values and Purpose, is designed to empower participants to tap into their inner courage by aligning personal values with organiza tional purpose. Held during Forge Fair 2025 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. (ET), the session will help attendees discover their unique strengths and core values through self-reflec tion and guided exercises. By understanding how these qualities align with the larger goals of their organization, participants will leave with actionable insights to enhance their role within the team. Key takeaways include: • Identifying and articulating their unique value proposition • Crafting a personal statement of purpose that supports orga nizational goals • Communicating their contributions in a memorable and meaningful way Attendees will gain immediate skills to confidently engage with senior leaders and make a greater impact within their organi zation, focusing on high-value tasks and strengthening their presence in key decision-making conversations. Hammertime WOMEN IN FORGING FIERF Forging Competition The 2025 Forging Competition challenges students to creatively design and forge a functioning blacksmithing hammer of their choice. Hammers cannot exceed 3.5lbs. and are to be made of 1045 carbon steel. Each hammer will be put through a series of tests appropriate to the application. All submissions should include your hammer, a project video and technical report documenting

Career Day at Forge Fair Thursday, May 15, 2025 is Forge Fair Career Day. Students and Educators can register for Forge Fair 2025 at no charge and explore the forging industry, learn about co-ops and internships, and meet with potential employers. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes with them to hand out to potential employers during their time at the show. FIA will provide a list of students with contact information to all FIA Member exhibitors following the event. Please note: To register as a student or educator, please contact Amanda Dureiko at amanda@forging.org. You must be enrolled or employed at a technical school, college or university. Academic Alley New this year at Forge Fair, schools and FIERF Forging Competi tion teams will have table-tops in Academic Alley. Stroll through to meet with students who are or will soon be looking for career opportunities. Also, all competition submissions, will be on display here. Just like Forge Fair 2023, we are asking Forge Fair attendees to vote on who they think should win the “People’s Choice Award” for the best-looking blacksmithing hammer!
