The Forging Foundation held its Third Annual Silent Auction at the FIA Annual Meeting of Members in Naples, Florida. The Silent Auction raised over $32,000 - the most the auction has raised thus far! All proceeds raised from the Silent Auction go toward the Forging Foundation in supporting industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engage students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to encourage them to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. The Silent Auction had an assortment of donations consisting of sporting tickets, forged items, jewelry, outdoor accessories and much more! Attendees had the opportunity to bid on the items donated during the Sunset Reception. A special thank you to all of the companies that donated to help make this event possible. Join your forging industry colleagues on the golf course for the Annual FIA Forging Foundation (FIERF) Golf Outing. The FIA Forging Foundation funds industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engages students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available for this outing. Sponsorships will be secured on a first-come-first-served basis.
