CHIZ BROS. ACQUIRES ADVANCED MATERIAL SCIENCE TO BOLSTER INSULATION MACHINING SERVICES

C hiz Bros., a provider of custom solutions for refractory and high temperature applications in a wide range of industries, including metals, power, glass and ceramics, has recently completed the acquisition of Advanced Material Science, a long-term vendor of Chiz. Bros. Advanced Material Science is a thermal and electrical insulation material distributor located southwestern Pennsylvania with an additional focus on custom CNC machining. The location of the manufacturing facility, 2965 Pittsburgh Street in Perryopolis, PA

will remain unchanged, with plans by Chiz Bros. to invest in improvements to machinery, inventory, and safety practices. “The acquisition of Advanced Material Science will help us expand our offerings in regard to induction insulation and utilize their quick turnaround and precise machine services,” says Mark Rhoa, Jr., vice president of Chiz Bros. “We are excited to welcome them into the Chiz Bros. family. We pride ourselves on supplying high quality materials and AMS certainly fits that mold.”
