AMANDA DUREIKO NAMED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FIERF FORGING FOUNDATION
We are thrilled to announce that Amanda Dureiko has been promoted to Executive Director of the Forging Industry Educational and Research Foundation (FIERF)!
“Amanda has launched the first official summer camps for K-12 for the Forging Foundation, which have been a great success for educating children about the industry. She also initiated the FIERF Forging Competition, a national event where students compete as teams for prizes. Both of these initiatives have significantly contributed to our efforts to engage a younger audience and strengthen workforce development,” said Angela Gibian, Interim President & CEO of the Forging Industry Association. “She steps up in times of need, and is always willing to support new programs and initiatives, such as the new AI Consortium that recently came together.” Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda is known for her genuine care and support for those around her. “Amanda is one of the hardest workers I know, and she genuinely cares about what she is doing and the people she impacts. She is not only an outstanding employee, but also a wonderful co-worker and friend to those around her,” added Angela. “For example, without prompting, she ensures everyone’s birthdays are celebrated, organizes office activities like holiday decorating contests, and fosters a positive and collaborative workplace culture. She is a valuable member of my team, and I have no doubt that she is going to go far in her career.” Please join us in congratulating Amanda Dureiko on this exciting new chapter as Executive Director of FIERF. We look forward to seeing her continued leadership and the lasting impact she will make on the forging industry!
