State of Ohio Recognizes Transcon Conveyor for 60 years of Operation
Transcon stands ready with new and replacement belts, conveyor parts, and complete rebuilding services for its own equipment as well as its competitors. For Transcon Conveyor’s next 60 years, General Manager Mathew Frank is excited about the company’s trajectory. “Our team is doing a great job incorporating specialized conveyor process improvements into existing conveyor systems—whether for a Transcon system or a competitors—we’re here to help. And we’ve worked hard to make it easy to do business with us with our online order forms and updated website.” All of Transcon Conveyors are designed, manufactured and shipped from Mentor, Ohio with ISO 9001:2000 Certification. Transcon’s proprietary welded hinge and one-piece pan belt design can be customized to meet specific operational needs. According to Matthew Frank, “By designing our welding hinge loops to a single, full-width solid steel pan, we can open up a range of advantages that deliver longer belt life and trouble-free operation while permitting longer conveyor lines and heavier working loads.” Learn more about Transcon at www.transconconveyor.com. ■
In its recognition certificate of Transcon Conveyor’s 60th anniversary, Ohio State House Representative Jamie Callender wrote, “Transcon Conveyor is deserving of high praise, for throughout sixty years of operations it has attained a remarkable record of accomplishment. This exemplary designer and manufacturer of conveyor systems has earned the gratitude and appreciation of many satisfied customers, and its success is a justifiable source of pride and a fine reflection not only on the business itself but also on the astute supervision of its owner, on its hard-working employees, and on the Mentor community.” For over six decades, Transcon Conveyor has met material handling challenges with expertly engineered, heavy-duty conveyor equipment designed and manufactured to last longer and contribute to our customers’ ROI. And as metalworking processes become increasingly complex, their goal is nothing less than conveyor equipment that actually contributes to process improvement.
