Then on Thursday, October 28, female leaders from the forging industry took the stage for the first-ever Women in Forging panel session. Moderated by Ashleigh Walters, President, Onex, Inc. this panel session covered topics such as transitioning into the next generation; men becoming mentors and allies to women in the industry; finding work/life balance; labor and workforce development; andmore. Panelists included representatives fromFIA Member companies: Chelsea Lantto, Trenton Forging Company; Suzanne Tkach, Tkach Metal Forming Consultants; Paige King, American Axle &Manufacturing; and Danielle Smith, Finkl Steel.

ShowHighlights Two featured events took place the main stage in the exhibit hall. First, on Wednesday, October 27, Dr. Chris Kuehl of Armada Corporate Intelligence, gave a keynote presentation with an economic update regarding inflation, the energy crisis and supply crisis. Chris is themanaging director of ArmadaCI and one of the co- founders of the company. He has been Armada's economic analyst and has worked with a wide variety of private clients and professional associations in the last 18 years. He is the chief economist for the

National Association for Credit Management (NACM). He prepares NACM's monthly Credit Managers Index. (See his article on page 36)
