This is a 3-hour virtual course focused on metallurgical technology and applications for aluminum and titanium alloys relevant to the forging industry.

Heating Technology for ForgingWorkshop December 8-9, 2021 – Live Virtual Workshop

The FIA Heating Technology for Forging Workshop is a two-day virtual training that includes gas heating for forging and induction heating for forging. Attendees are welcome to register for the entire workshop or for an individual day. Modules include understanding combustion fundamentals, successful burner management, furnace construction and design, induction heating power supplies, material handling systems, water cooling systems, preventative maintenance and more.
