Ted Gutt Fifty-Year Anniversary Celebrated at Commercial Forged Products

FIA was present to celebrate Ted Gutt’s fifty-year anniversary at Commercial Forged Products this past month for a special surprise luncheon in Ted’s honor. Employees, Ted’s family, and retired/ former CFP employees gathered to honor a surprised Ted. “Family is so important, and Ted’s commitment to his work family at CFP these past fifty-years is a great achievement. Ted has had many roles at CFP over the decades and we’ve been so fortunate he shared his talent, creativity and great humor and kind demeanor all these years with the CFP team,” commented Mike Wozniak, President of Wozniak Industries Inc. “We’ve been a better company because of Ted and enjoyed his company all these years and more to come.”

In addition to his slide show and comments about Ted, Mike had FIA share the good news that Wozniak Industries was establishing a FIERF scholarship to honor Ted: The Ted Gutt Family Forging Foundation Scholarship at Moraine Valley Community College . With an initial donation of $10,000 and $1,500 match courtesy of FIERF Foundation and authorization by FIERF Trustees, the gift will support students pursuing manufacturing certificates and degrees at Moraine Valley Community College.
