New Courses and Webinars on the Forging University Platform • Failure Analysis for Metallurgy – with Forging Case Studies A three-hour pre-recorded webinar focused on examination of cracked and fractured metal components to determine the fracture mode and fracture mechanism and obtain information that will help determine the root cause of the failure. An additional section focuses specifically on failure case examples In this two-hour recorded live webinar attendees will learn the theory of forge die and component welding repair from two industry veterans with over 30 years of forge die repair experience who’ve successfully repaired and maintained hundreds of forging dies and components. • Maintenance 101: Maximizing Your Equipment ROI In this two-hour recorded live webinar instructors will review Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and the concepts involved; how TPM goes well beyond Preventive Maintenance and includes Autonomous or Operator Assisted Maintenance, Predictive or Condition-based Maintenance, and Productive Maintenance. • Bearing Fundamentals This custom-developed 2.5 hour bearing fundamentals course introduces learners to the types of bearings, their basic components, and considerations.
