Remembering Michael E. “Mike” Wise

Michael E. “Mike” Wise, 58, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Mercy Health Tiffin Hospital. He was born on January 17, 1964, in Tiffin, Ohio to James Ray and Janet (Fretz) Wise. On August 8, 1987, he married Margaret Burke. Mike was a 1982 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. He began his career at National Machinery

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served on the Clinton Zoning board and the Attica Fair sale committee. Mike was an OSU and NASCAR fan, enjoyed playing on many golf leagues, watching Hallmark movies, hunting, running errands around town, taking drives in his truck, attending any activities his children were involved in, spending time with his family; especially his grandson, Beau. “Mike had worked for National since 1990 and was known for his knowledge and willingness to help both customers and colleagues. In more recent years he specialized in the “hot” market with our press and forging machines. He joined Remanufacturing in 1993 as an Assembler and later Technician. In NewCo, he has worked in Aftermarket as a Sr. Customer Service Rep. and in 2021 was promoted to Forging Specialist.
