FIERF Forge the Future Summer Camp August 5-6, 2024 - Warren, MI

Explore the world of forging through the Forging Foundation's two-day Forge the Future Summer Camp. Students 11-15 years old will have the opportunity to tour American Axle & Manufacturing, participate in STEAM and team building activities, and learn how to forge. Plus, campers will get to take home their own forging!

Forging Automation Conference & Plant Tour August 20-21, 2024 – Detroit, MI

This conference is a two-day event specifically developed to give forgers a first-hand look into the latest developments in industrial automation and how robotics and automation can help forging companies increase productivity, lower costs, and improve workplace safety. This event will be hosted at LIFT and includes a plant tour of Trenton Forging Company.

ForjaMEX Conference September 4-5, 2024 – Querétaro, MX

The 2024 ForjaMEX Conference will take place September 4-5, 2024 at the Grand Fiesta Americana in Querétaro, MX. This year, the conference will have one track that includes both executive-level and production/ technical topics. Several forging plant tours in the Querétaro area have already been confirmed.

33rd Forging Industry Technical Conference September 17-18, 2024 – Erie, PA

The Forging Industry Technical Conference is designed to showcase the best in forging technology with a diversity of presentations of interest to different processes, materials, and end-use markets; report out FIERF funded research projects and industry collaborative group results; provide a forum for students and professors to present their forging research; and provide a networking opportunity between industry, academia, and research partners. The program also includes a tour of Ajax-CECO/Erie Press.

Fall Meeting of Members & Marketing Seminar October 16-17, 2024 – Cleveland, OH

Now two events in one, this year’s Fall Meeting of Members & Marketing Seminar will include topics such as raw materials, reshoring, and marketing for manufacturing. There will also be an update on fair trade, as well as market overviews of the aerospace, defense, automotive and energy markets. This year’s conference also includes breakout sessions on the topics of: artificial intelligence for B2B marketing; Washington, D.C. and China; defense/appropriations and working with the government; and a Q&A session with the associations legal team.
