FOUNDATION NEWS

The Forging Foundation held its Fourth Annual Silent Auction at the FIA Annual Meeting of Members in Colorado Spring, CO. The Silent Auction raised more than $29,000 this year. All proceeds raised from the Silent Auction go toward the Forging Foundation in supporting industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engage students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholar ships to encourage them to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. The Silent Auction had an assortment of donations consisting of sporting tickets, forged items, jewelry, outdoor accessories and much more! Attendees had the opportunity to bid on the items donated during the Sunset Reception. A special thank you to all of the companies that donated to help make this event possible.
