We are proud to announce the commissioning of the first fully integrated forging plant supplied by Vecchiato in India, developed for PTC Aerolloy. This is a significant milestone that reflects not only the full satisfaction of our customer, but also an important step forward in the development of advanced technological solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors, where quality, precision, and repeatability are essential requirements. The plant is designed for forging high value-added materials and includes: • Hydraulic press with 4,300 tons nominal force and 5,100 tons upsetting force • Integrated rail-bound manipulator with 16-ton capacity • 12-ton diesel-powered wheel manipulator • Hydraulic system based on patented flywheel technology to reduce installed electrical power • Complete electrical and automation system • Remote assistance across the entire plant • Forging software based on advanced deformation control The achieved performance is extremely high: up to 110 strokes per minute, with forging accuracy within ±1 mm, ensuring outstanding quality and repeatability. This project confirms Vecchiato’s ability to: • Deliver fully integrated plants under a single point of responsibility • Ensure maximum integration and synchronization between press and manipulator • Significantly reduce installed electrical power (up to 40% less compared to standard solutions) • Provide advanced control of deformation and process speed • Offer a high level of automation to support operators during the process We are proud to contribute to this important achievement of PTC Industries Limited and to see our technology playing a key role in the growth of the aerospace and defence sector in India.
