Join your forging industry colleagues on the golf course for the Annual Forging Foundation (FIERF) Golf Outing. The Forging Foundation funds industry-relevant research to advance the science of forging and engages students through curriculum, experiential learning, and scholarships to pursue careers in the forging supply chain. Funds raised from this golf outing will support the Forging Foundation (FIERF) FIA Safety Conference September 15-17, 2026 | Tri-C Corporate College (Warrensville Heights, OH) This bi-annual conference is hosted by the FIA Safety Committee, which provides attendees with valuable educational programming related to health and safety in the forging industry, and includes sponsorship and networking opportunities. FIA Fall Meeting & Marketing Conference October 20-21, 2026 | The Marriott Pittsburgh City Center (Pittsburgh, PA) Hosted by the FIA Marketing Committee, the Fall Meeting & Marketing Conference offers a combination of business and leadership presentations, engaging marketing content, and market sector updates that will help you and your business thrive. The event also includes small breakout sessions for more focused learning. Registration for this event is available to FIA Members only.

Mechanical Press Maintenance Workshop November 2-3, 2026 | FIA Headquarters (Independence, OH)

This workshop will act to introduce participants to the different types of mechanical presses. It will provide an explanation of the various elements of the press to provide an understanding of how they work and their interaction and influence on other parts of the press forging process. The emphasis of this workshop is predictive and preventative maintenance of the elements of the press, how to improve the uptime of your machines, and items that should be taken into consideration when planning a repair.

This program is a two-day training focused on helping first-line supervisors strengthen the core people management skills needed to lead effectively.
