We are seeking an experienced Forge Engineer to support our hot forging operation in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Qualified Candidates must have the following: • Experience in design of hot forge tooling, and related processes. • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical press operations. • Must be able to develop and improve inspection/ test gauge equipment. • • Be proficient in 2D CAD Software, preferably Auto CAD as well as Microsoft Office products. Experience in metal forming simulation, preferably Deform requested. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of personnel, and must be able to interface with our customers in a professional and technical manner. •

Ability to provide manufacturing and maintenance support to improve reliability of equipment; provide mentoring and training to operators, technicians, and engineers as necessary. • Lead the design process with other forge personnel and departments.

Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment and be able to problem solve forge processes in a fast paced environment.

Successful candidates will have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training.
